Trying to finish up some of the requests I’ve had sitting around for forever. Also, been kind of on a roll today drawing-wise. It’s nice after feeling like I’ve been in a drawing-funk lately.
hi I’m actually studying your blog as a part of my uni project and wondered if you could draw me an image, it would really help me out. i was thinking a typically english victorian giraffe. Cheers
I don’t even know how to react to that. My blog being studied? I apologize for the lack of content lately then. Please do explain more of this studying you’re doing. I’m very intrigued.
Oh yeah, and here’s a doodle of that Victorian era giraffe.
Done and done! I’m getting sleepy. I’ll continue with more of the requests tomorrow, more than likely. Thanks everybody for the requests so far. Keep ‘em coming, if you like.
A fluffy mouse monster wearing a cardigan two sized too small.
I kind of like this little character. (Though, not really a monster.)
This reminds me of when my lovely old rat, Dante, had surgery to remove a large mass, and had to wear this sleeve, or as I called it, his sweater vest.
Warning: The stitches in this photo might be a bit graphic, so if you don’t want to see that sort of thing, don’t click this link. It’s Dante in the sweater vest, looking a little haggard, because, well, he had surgery to remove a large mass.
asonginmyheart asked: I will love you forever (and totally pimp out your page! And buy any merchandise associated with it!) if you draw a chinchilla.
Ways to make the chinchilla - already undeniably a rad critter - even more rad: Have him wear a party hat. Have him dressed as a cowboy; little leather chaps, spurs, hat, maybe a little gun or a lasso! Make it a birthday party! Chinchilla-sized cake and party hats.
None of these ideas are mandatory, but again, I’ll spam everyone on my facebook for a week straight if you make this happen :)
Haha. Well, that was a lot of requests for what the chinchilla could be involved with, but I figured the best route was the party hat. Not too loud, but still keeping it classy.
Thanks for the request. I enjoy chinchillas incredibly much. I hope to have one some day. And as I was telling Katherine, they’re pretty much the closest you can get to having a pikachu.
Gab is so embarrassed that she is not following you yet because she looks at this blog often. So embarrassed she is speaking in the third person. Also, she wants to know if someday you could draw a hummingbird listening to some music. Hummingbirds visit her balcony sometimes. ♥
I know you requested this forever ago, but I’ve been kind of leaning away from doing requests lately trying to lean more into personal stuff, which is kind of tough for me. But yeah, here’s a hummingbird enjoying some music for you.
Enjoy!
Also, if any of you aren’t following drawgabbydraw, somehow, you definitely should start! Right now.
Certainly, Danielle! Sorry these take so long to get to.
So, I was attempting to go about the platypus as a practice of the whole coloring/using different painterly brushes, but it just wasn’t working well on its own, so I threw in some line-work too. Enjoy!
