So, I decided I’m going to try to do these themed drawing days that my girlfriend and I came up with, so I can give myself a little more of a theme and practice some stuff, and force myself to practice it.
They are Monster Monday, Terrain Tuesday, Women Wednesday, Tipsy Thursday (which is basically a free-draw, but I have to be drunk while I do it, wee!), and Fan-Art Friday. Some are obviously things I’m already fairly comfortable with, some aren’t.
Landscape banner I did for the Minecraft server that I play on (discovr.us). The landscape is actually drawn from a screenshot of a landscape in Minecraft.
Another work-in-progress (yes, I know I still haven’t finished the sea-life drawing). This one based on a scene in a story/eventual graphic novel I’m writing. I also just wanted to practice my limited color black and white shading. And, I haven’t done a landscape in forever. The blue part being the sketch.
To get the scale of it, the tree in the center is a few miles wide.
