Mushrooms from Super Mario Bros. I’ve always been fascinated by mushrooms/fungi/spores, how some are edible, even delicious, while others are poisonous, or even others like cordyceps can take over the brain of insects making them almost zombie-like.

Decided to refine the drawing and change the cropping of it a bit before submitting it to Bits in Multiples of 8. There are still a few days left to submit if you’ve got something that you think would work!
Decided on drawing a wolf today, inspired by fabricflitfly who stopped by my chat earlier. Being the gaming nerd I am, I initially thought of Okami, even though I have yet to play the game. One of these days.
Been playing a bit of Skyrim. Really don’t know why he doesn’t just leave right after that first incident. But, I guess that would make for a shorter game.
This is the drawing that I was working on for the video. And this is where I stopped in the drawing before rage-quitting because of the video corrupting.
Definitely going to finish it eventually. (This time I mean it, I realize I say this about a lot of stuff I start.) Lots of coloring yet to do.
I’m going to be uploading a video of me drawing this hopefully tomorrow, with commentary.
I’ve obviously been on a ghoul drawing kick, so I figured I might as well actually draw a ghoul character from Fallout. This is Jason Bright from Fallout: New Vegas. He led a religious group of ghouls, thus the religious imagery.
I’m really intrigued by these new creatures. It’s fun interpreting things from very little information (simplistic blocky forms). I’m not fully pleased with this version though. I’ll probably keep toying around with it.
I do quite enjoy Notch’s explanation of the thought going into the creature though.
And, being me, I like to try to make every thing that can’t be understood into something sympathetic, or in this case just looking rather pathetic.
